Nathan "Adonis" Graves

Nathan Graves
Professional wrestler, mechanic

Nathan Jonas Graves (born July 2, 1965) is a infamous Greek-American retired professional wrestler, best known for his work in the World Wrestling Federation as Adonis. He is a distant member of the famous Hart wrestling family. Like others in his family, Graves has an amateur wrestling background, including wrestling at Walter Scott High School and West Rutherford University.
His professional career began in 1983 after being recruited by Brett "The Hitman" Hart at a camp put on by the WWF. His professional monikers would earned him the nickname “Adonis,” with moves like the “the excecuter” and “the red and white attack,” as well as his trademark yellow combat boots and flashy outfits. His most popular act involved finding a female fan at the beginning of the show and give his sunglasses to her and steal a kiss.
In 1992, Graves was involved in the “Chicago Highjack,” a match described as one of the most controversial events in professional wrestling to this day by the WWF. It was alleged that Graves was rigged to win yet another championship belt when something went wrong in the final minutes of the choreography, leaving 2 fellow wrestlers permanently impaired, one with hearing loss, the other unable to walk.
Graves escaped the high-profile case by disappearing from the spotlight for years. He resurfaced in 2005 when found working at mechanics in Detroit called “Jimmy’s” which his family owns. The last known photograph taken of the fallen star is said to bare little resemblance of the man once on top of the World Wrestling industry.
Graves never returned to the WWF and has often been referred to as the Houdini of wrestling. Though much controversy and speculation surround the incident, no conclusive evidence was every found to result in any arrests. To this day, Graves has not spoken about the events surrounding that day.

Elsa Angeline Estrada
Bullfighter

Elsa Angeline Estrada (born August 14, 1982) is Spanish born, female bullfighter that rose to fame at the early age of 16 in what is largely considered a male-dominated sport.
Born in Seville, Spain, Estrada began her bullfighting career in 1990 touring around Spain in a children's bullfighting tour. She killed her first bull on July 24, 1996. As she grew up and developed her technique, she became quit daring and would often wear elaborate costuming and her footwork become almost dance-like, taunting the animal. As a result, she became an easy icon and was quick to establish a lively fan-base that emulates her flashy dress and style. They call themselves Los Ninos Estrada. In 2000, she was only one of four women recognized as competing at an international level.
In 2002, Estrada fought 109 bulls, a number not matched by any matador before. She went on to fight for another five years, retiring in 2007 after nearly ending her life in a match that left her severely gored along her left side. She remained a spokes person for the sport for a few years following her recovery.
After her retirement, Estrada published an autobiography called Matador Estrada: the Woman who danced with Bulls.
When her doctor told him that, because of her lifelong injuries and trauma, she could no longer fight, she decided to teach. She bought her childhood ranch and opened a bullfighting school for woman across Spain.
Her devoted fans can still be seen at bullfighting events today, wearing her signature green hair colored wigs and golden capes, paying homage to the woman that changed the face of the sport forever.
Estrada now lives in Seville with her husband, famous matador Devon Almarinez, and their three children. Together, they run one the most successful bullfighting programs in the world and have students that have gone on to successfully compete internationally.

Megan Gutwig
Rapper, actress

Megan Eloise “Tall Kat” Gutwig (born January 19, 1979) is an American rapper, songwriter, choreographer, actress and producer, best known for her work in the hip-hopera “Urban Widow”.
In the two-and-a-half decades since her national-chart début, she remains one of the most-successful female rappers in the history of the rap genre, which garnered her the title of 'The Queen of Urban Beats', with twenty-two number-one singles being attributed to her writing.

She is known for her distinctive delivery, sometimes-bawdy humor, flamboyant dress sense and slender figure.

Gutwig began performing at early age, singing at local talent shows and community centers in and around Chicago, Illinois. Born to Margaret and Charles Gutwig, a mechanic, she took to performing naturally as a means of gaining the attention of her parents and peers. As one of six children, she was quick to develop and learn that independence would be her way out.

On April 23, 1996, Gutwig hopped a train to Georgia with childhood friend, Aleesha Murray, to audition for famous hip hop producer James Earlgood at Trak Runners. Though the pair went on to audition as a duo, it was clear that Gutwig was the talent.

Gutwig's initial success came as a songwriter, writing two top ten hits with her  "Put it Off " and 1997 hit "Fuel to the Fight". She also wrote a minor chart hit for Queen Latifah during this period. She had signed with Underfoot Records in late 1996, where she was initially pitched as a suburban pop rapper.
The label agreed to have Gutwig sing as an independent female rapper after her composition, "Put It Off," as recorded by Da Brat, went to number six on the hip-hop-music charts in 1999. Her first rap single, "Take me and Leave" (one of the few songs during this era that she recorded but did not write), reached number twenty-four on the rap music charts in 2001, followed the same year with "Getcha Some," which went to number seventeen.

Gutwig went on to have a lengthy career in the industry as a songwriter, producer and choreographer. She earned a Tony award in 2005 for her work in the hip hopera “Urban Widow,” a story about a young girl’s passion for music and life while raising her siblings in the inner city of Detroit. Many attribute the storyline to be that similar to Gutwig’s own life. She has also been featured on numerous tracks with artists such as Lil’ Kim, MC Lyte, and Jean Grae. Gutwig retired from the business to concentrate on producing new talent and to pursue her acting career in 2009.

She went on to marry producer Allen T. Jones in 2006. The couple currently lives in L.A. where they co-own Pulse Records.
